presumptions (e.g. about the time, the ball travels through the air) and their failure are part of the game.
at the beginning both play their match and the computer listens and makes his presumptions.
after a while he contributes, deriving pitches out of the difference between his presumptions and reality.
in the third part, both players try to play according to the computers presumptions, striving to minimise pitch deviations.
