discman in shuffle-mode with piezo,
(almost) empty cd, guitaramp

a discman playing in shuffle-mode is desperatly trying to do its best in playing the tracks of an empty cd randomly. but on the 80 tracks of the cd is no sound except a short announcment of the tracknumber.
a piezomicrophone is attached to the bottom of the discman, catching the central sound of this installation: the motor moving the internal laser between the tracks.
